Ihatov Bread and Coffee - Nob Hill's Favorite Coffee

In Albuquerque’s bustling Nob Hill, the aroma of freshly baked bread fills the air thanks to a new local coffeehouse, Ihatov Coffee and Bread. When you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and cozy ambiance that invites you to linger and savor the delights that await you. The atmosphere at Ihatov is relaxed and welcoming, with comfortable seating and natural lighting creating an ideal space to unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee or one of their delicious pastries. 

Ihatov had humble beginnings. It started as a modest stand at the Albuquerque railyards market. With a limited menu and a few loyal customers, Ihatov quickly gained a reputation for its mouthwatering pastries. As the business grew, the owners of Ihatov realized that they needed a permanent location to accommodate their expanding customer base. Just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, they purchased a property in the vibrant Nob Hill neighborhood. With excitement in the air, they began transforming the space into a cozy and inviting bakery. However, fate had a different plan. The pandemic brought unprecedented challenges, forcing businesses worldwide to adapt or face closure. Ihatov was no exception. Faced with dine-in restrictions, the owners pivoted quickly and shifted their focus to takeout only. Despite the adversity, Ihatov pushed through the pandemic and can now showcase their beautiful building and lovely staff.

One of my favorite items in the pastry case is the almond croissant, dare I say the best in Albuquerque?
